About SoL

Stage of Life (SOL) Theatre is a non-profit children's theatre organization led by director Jennifer Johnson based at the Third Street Center in Carbondale CO. Recent and upcoming performances include The Goonies, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and West Side Story.

Our Mission:

Building a healthy community and nurturing our youth to their greatest potential through the performing arts.

Through the use of theatrical training and production in a fun, safe and supportive setting, SoL Theatre Company helps children and young adults expand their self concept, inspires them to lead by example and educates them to build the social and emotional tools in order to live meaningful lives.

Classes offered to train performers to improve their technique, develop their skills and grow
their talent, enabling them to maximize their potential.

Objectives

To thrive as a Performing Arts Company AND Training Conservatory comprised of children and young adults. The company specializes in teaching acting, dancing,  singing, and more.

To produce the most professional children's theater possible. Our intention is that each production will offer an opportunity for each child to discover a new level of competence, self-esteem and confidence. We strive to attain the highest quality team of directors and teachers to collaborate and insure accountability to the goals of the company.

To encourage personal growth; giving children the tools to deal with current social issues and developing self-confidence allowing them to thrive in society.

To reach out into our community for financial support to help cover production costs with the goal of offering our program at the lowest possible cost to the participants as well as scholarships for children who would not otherwise be able to afford it.
